Great communities are good for everyone, but now more than ever they need energy, passion, ideas and commitment. The need for “now” is why Frontier Communications, in partnership with DISH Network and other sponsors, is proud to introduce “America’s Best Communities,” a campaign to inspire ideas that will spark vitality and sustainable growth in small towns and cities in 27 of the states served by Frontier and DISH.

WHAT’S INVOLVED?

An application, a vision, an actionable plan and a lot of hard work! There’s more than that, of course, and the details can be found here. Who wins? We all win, because the campaign will provide communities through rural and mid-sized America with a wealth of creative ideas about how to revitalize towns and cities. The campaign offers cash rewards to the top three winners – a first prize of $3 million and second and third prizes of $2 million and $1 million, respectively, for exceptional ideas that transform vision into reality. In addition, up to 50 applicants will benefit from $35,000 in seed money to help support the development of the visionary strategies that will revitalize America’s heartland and benefit the entire country. And up to 8 finalists will receive $100,000.00 to further implement their plan in the hopes of winning the larger prizes.
