*NOTE: Our team is made up of representatives from what we call the Community Development Partners (CDP): the Chamber of Commerce including their economic development team (Target Alpena Economic Development Corporation), Convention & Visitors’ Bureau (CVB), and the Downtown Development Authority (DDA). Strongly collaborating with us in this effort - our local government and community-at-large. Our united goal is to live our brand, Sanctuary of the Great Lakes, continually. Each entity works independently toward the goal, all while remaining a part of the larger, focused team. As the largest community in a region full of valuable natural assets, Alpena takes the lead for Northeast Michigan.
